Our Community Employment Services are designed to assist persons to attain and maintain individualized, integrated community-based employment. The central focus of employment services is the individual seeking employment, while recognizing the contributions of everyone supporting the effort. We work to leverage available resources to help people achieve the goals they set forth in their individualized employment plan.  Motivation on wheels focusses exclusively on Individualized community based Integrated employment.

MOW LLC.’s Job Development services endeavor to assist an individual to gain integrated competitive employment.  The Signed Placement Plan (based upon input from the person seeking employment with the final product approved by them) serves as a working tool that gathers information to be used throughout the job development process with the understanding that the plan may be modified as the process progresses. Job Developers serve as a material expert to persons by engaging in networking with community businesses to develop and identify job openings; informing individuals of available positions (and provide search tools); and analyzing work sites to aid in successful employment outcomes through appropriate strategies. MOW staff leverage available resources to enhance an individual’s candidacy through available employer incentives such as: Work Opportunity Tax Credits; Connect 700 Program; Schedule A Federal Applications; Internship Programs; Union membership; On the Job Training Contracts; Adult Basic Education (ABE) and Employee Development Services. Job developers recognize employers as an important customer of our services and develop relationships with area businesses through our understanding of business operations. MOW LLC.‘s  Motivation on Wheels LLC. acts as a resource to area businesses and encourages businesses leaders to utilize our unique knowledge base to access information or services that benefit their companies.

  Job Coaching provides the supports necessary to assist an individual to learn, maintain or advance on the job. Our commitment to excellent Employment Supports requires “going the extra mile” which includes: working “nontraditional hours’’; developing individualized strategies for training; creative problem solving; employing natural supports; leveraging assets; and supporting businesses with our knowledge of resources. Our objective is to assist an individual to be the best employee they can become and that can take a variety of forms. We work to decrease the need for job coach supports and transfer the role to natural supports when available. When long term supports are identified as a desired support, we assist individuals to access them and have developed relationships with organizations to facilitate a smooth transition. While MOW LLC. Staff may provide support and coaching on site, we do not assume the employer role as supervisor. However, we work hard to understand the industries we work with to facilitate the employment relationship for persons we serve.  When the supports necessary for maintenance of employment are not employment based, we connect and refer individuals to outside resources. Our experience in the industry has positioned us as a highly regarded resource to provide direct service, consultation, and creative development of a support plan that is well suited to the individual desires expressed by the people we serve.
